Delete your account

You can delete your SalamaGreen account yourself, from the app. You do not need to contact us.

1. In the app

Salama Driver

Account tab → Settings → Privacy → Delete account

Salama Operator

Tap the Account tab at the bottom of the screen. It opens a screen titled Profile. Scroll down to the Delete account section.

2. What happens when you request it

Your request starts immediately. You do not wait for a person. You then have 14 days to change your mind. Your account works normally the whole time, and you can cancel from the same screen at any point before the 14 days end. We send a text message confirming the date. After 14 days, deletion runs automatically and cannot be undone.

Station staff (Salama Operator): if you are the only admin for a station, or you are a station's registered billing contact, the app asks you to sort that out first. Assign a co-admin, or contact support to change the billing contact. Then you can request deletion. This is not a bug: it stops a station from losing its only administrator.

3. If you can't or don't want to use the app

Email support@getsalamagreen.com with the phone number of the account, or use the contact form with the topic General. Unlike the in-app path, this request goes to a person. We reply as soon as possible.

4. What is deleted and what is kept

  • Deleted: your phone number, name, email address, vehicle details (Salama Driver only), and any device registered for notifications.
  • Salama Operator accounts also: your access to any station you worked at is removed as part of deletion.
  • Kept, with personal details removed: your booking, payment and fuel-log history. These records stay attached to the now-anonymous account instead of disappearing. We are required to keep financial and service records for a period afterwards, and a station's own records of a completed transaction should not vanish because the other party deleted their account. Nothing that is kept can be traced back to you once deletion completes.
  • Kept as it is: the text of any support ticket, report or message you wrote yourself. That is your own content inside a support record, not data we collected about you.
